The Information Age and Lack of Knowledge

Many years ago I read a book about the coming information age. This same man had predicted the Dot-Com age and the robot age. This was even before the internet and the personal computer.

I’m not good at predictions, because I assumed that in an information age we would have smarter people. But this has not happened except with a very small minority of people. The time it took to find an answer to a question years ago may have been days, and today is seconds.

In fact I am astonished at how many people are ignorant of the basic things we should know to have a happy and peaceful life. I am also saddened by the number of people who cannot make intelligent decisions because they do not have true facts.

Although not very charitable in an age when everyone thinks the most important thing in the world is “self-esteem”, I want to use the word, “Stupid”. This is not as bad a word as thought today. It does not mean that a person lacks abilities, but only that he does not use them. Stupid means someone makes unintelligent decisions or actions. He uses feelings and not reason in his life. Today there are many stupid people. The reasons for this are many: people simply do not want to know, they do not care, they are mentally lazy, or they are afraid of knowing.

I do not want to repeat what I already wrote in How Do We Know Something?, but do you know the difference between truth and simply information? Did you ever stop to think that most of your knowledge is based on trust or faith? We know, not because we can feel it with our senses or have run the scientific tests ourselves, but because some person, called a teacher or scientist, said so, or because we read it in a book. Is this true knowledge?

Investigate to find truth

What I do at Unity Publishing is investigate information for people who cannot do it themselves or just do not want to. I try to do this in all the important subjects of life: religion and faith, life and death, economics and politics, history and corrupted history, morals and relationships. The reason I consider these the most important subjects is because they have long term consequences to our life and happiness. (Note One: What is important?)

One of the definitions of stupid is to repeat the same mistake over and over. This is the reason understanding history is so important. History can tell you what has worked in the important subjects above and what has not. It is very difficult to use a logical mind and make good and logical decisions in life without having some knowledge of the subject you are making a choice about. Nothing is stupider than having an absolute opinion on something important that you know nothing about. If I want to know the difference between Protestants and Catholics, I first must know what these to words mean, and not from their own propaganda, but from their faith and history. History is important because the results of their ideas are important. If I want to know if I prefer Capitalism or Socialism, I must first know what these words mean. Then see if they have been historically successful for the people.

Controlled News Media

Everyone today knows that the major news media is slanted far left, and you cannot get real news on TV today. But few know that this has always been true, not because the News media lies but because it decides what you should know and not know.

A good example of this is the period before World War II. We all know how Ford motor company quickly went to the aid of America by stopping its making of cars and started making military tanks and trucks. But what you are not told is that Ford, General Motors, General Electric and IBM, supported Hitler before America got into the war. You could say that Hitler was on horse back before these America companies helped him industrialize Germany. It was Ford and General Motors that built his army. It was General Electric that built his infrastructure. It was IBM that gave Hitler the Punch Cards that allowed him to find and kill 6,000,000 Jews. IBM not only showed Hitler how to categorized the German people into different classes but how to find out where they live. IBM did not sell him these Punch Card machines, but they rented them to him and sent America people into Germany to run them. These Americans even worked inside the prison camps deciding who would be gassed and who would be used for free labor. I bring this up to let you know what news you do not know and what history you do not know. History is yesterday’s news.

Today’s News you are not getting

I get frustrated watching the news because it is political propaganda over and over, or some car chase, some kidnapping, some store robbery, etc. This might be news, but these things happen over and over everyday and mean nothing in the long run.

What should be news is what affects my faith, my country, my family and my life. While the News Media gives over and over some stupid useless news, something very important is happing right now and no one knows about it.

Over the last six months something very important has been happening and no one in the News Media is covering it.

While Iran develops its missals and Nuclear Bombs, Israel has made two test runs over the Mediterranean Sea with its bombers. The reason for these tests was to fly the distance from Israel to Iran and back with bomb runs. Over the past two weeks they have been conducting civil defense exercises with the expectations that they would be attacked from Lebanon, the West Bank, the Gaza Strip, missles from Iran, ships from the Mediterranean and all at one time. Israel knows that when they bomb Iran, all this will happen. They have warned Obama that they are going to do this because America is not going to stop Iran.

But even that is not the most important news.

More important than the fact that Israel is going to bomb Iran and before this year is out, but that America is not going to do anything. Not only has Obama accepted the fact that Iran is going to have Nuclear Bombs but he is not going to do anything about it.

Common sense tells us this because he was elected by the people who wanted us out of all wars no matter what the cost to the world, but these people do not want American involved in anything outside America.

Worse than this, Obama sent CIA chief Leon Panetta to Israel threatening them against any attack on Iran. Barrack Obama is not about to lift a finger to stop Iran from developing the bomb, and he does not want Israel to stop them either. No matter what the long term consequences, he wants to be the President of peace, which will be the President of defeat, like Chamberlain was before being replaced by Winston Churchill.

At the same time, American and European companies are sending Iran the products they need to develop their war material. Follow the money and it is going in and out of banks in London but even American banks overseas.

While American people are flooding the bars, worried about their self-esteem, drowning themselves in rock and roll, Twittering on the web with people they do not even know and whatsoever else they can do to kill their brains, we are going into the next World War before this year is out.

How does that effect America this year? $6.00 a gallon gas if you can get it and at least 20% unemployment! In the long run a Persian United Middle East under Iran control and the bombing of Europe and America by terrorists.

Jimmy Carter, you are the father of the Islamic Nazi movement. You threw the Shah under the bus, welcomed the Ayatollah home, and then lacked the spine to confront the terrorists when they took our embassy and our people Hostage. You're the runner-in-chief.

Bill Clinton, you played ring around the Lewinsky while the terrorists were at war with us. You got us into a fight with them in  Somalia  and then you ran from it. Your weak-willed responses to the USS Cole and the First Trade Center Bombing & Our Embassy Bombings emboldened the killers. Each time you failed to respond adequately, they grew bolder, until 9/11/2001..

John Kerry, dishonesty is your most prominent attribute. You lied about American Soldiers in  Vietnam  . Your military service, like your life, is more fiction than fact. You have accused our military of terrorizing women and children in  Iraq  . You called  Iraq  the wrong war, wrong place, wrong time, the same words you used to describe  Vietnam  . You are a fake. You want to run from  Iraq  and abandon the Iraqis to murderers just as you did to the Vietnamese, Iraq , like  Vietnam  , is another war that you were for, before you were against it.

John Murtha, you said our military was broken.. You said we can't win militarily in  Iraq  . You accused United States Marines of cold-blooded murder without proof and said we should redeploy to Okinawa --  Okinawa  , John? And the Democrats call you their military expert! Are you sure you didn't suffer a traumatic brain injury while you were off building your war hero resume? You're a sad, pitiful, corrupt and washed up politician. You're not a Marine, sir. You're a phony and a disgrace. Run away, John.

Dick Durbin, you accused our Soldiers at Guantanamo of being Nazis, tenders of Soviet style gulags and as bad as the regime of Pol Pot, who murdered two million of his own people after your party abandoned Southeast Asia to the Communists. Now you want to abandon the Iraqis to the same fate. History was not a good teacher for you, was it? Lord help us! See Dick run.

Ted Kennedy, for days on end you held poster-sized pictures from Abu Ghraib in front of any available television camera. Al Jazeera quoted you saying that Iraqi's torture chambers were open under new management. Did you see the news, Teddy? The Islamic Nazis demonstrated another beheading for you. If you truly supported our troops, you would show the world
Poster-sized pictures of that atrocity and demand the annihilation of it. Your legislation stripping support from the South Vietnamese led to a communist victory there. You're a bloated, drunken fool bent on repeating the same historical blunder that turned freedom-seeking people over to homicidal, genocidal maniacs. To paraphrase John Murtha, all while sitting on your wide, gin-soaked rear-end in  Washington  .

Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Carl Levine, Barbara Boxer, Diane Feinstein, Russ Feingold, Hillary Clinton, Pat Leahy, Barack Obama, Chuck Schumer, the Hollywood Leftist morons, et al, ad nauseam: Every time you stand in front of television cameras and broadcast to the Islamic Nazis that we went to war because our President lied, that the war is wrong and our Soldiers are torturers, that we should leave Iraq, you give the Islamic butchers - the same ones that tortured and mutilated American Soldiers - cause to think that we will run away again, and all they have to do is hang on a little longer. It is inevitable that we, the infidels, will have to defeat the Islamic jihadists. Better to do it now on their turf, than later on our's after they have gained both strength and momentum.

American news media, the New York Times particularly: Each time you publish stories about national defense secrets and our intelligence gathering methods, you become one united with the sub-human pieces of camel dung that torture and mutilate the bodies of American Soldiers. You can't strike up the courage to publish cartoons, but you can help Al Qaeda destroy my country. Actually, you are more dangerous to us than Al Qaeda is. Think about that each time you face  Mecca  to admire your Pulitzer.

You are  America  's 'AXIS OF IDIOTS.' Your Collective Stupidity will destroy us. Self-serving politics and terrorist-abetting news scoops are more important to you than our national security or the lives of innocent civilians and Soldiers. It bothers you that defending ourselves gets in the way of your elitist sport of politics and your ignorant editorializing. There is as much blood on your hands as is on the hands of murdering terrorists. Don't ever doubt that. Your frolics will only serve to extend this war as they extended  Vietnam  . If you want our Soldiers home as you claim, knock off the crap and try supporting your country ahead of supporting your silly political aims and aiding our enemies.

Yes, I'm questioning your patriotism. Your loyalty ends with self. I'm also questioning why you're stealing air that decent Americans could be breathing. You don't deserve the protection of our men and women in uniform. You need to run away from this war, this country. Leave the war to the people who have the will to see it through and the country to people who are willing to defend it from within.

Language

What is the difference between Socialism and Nazism?  Socialism is when government owns all businesses.  Nazism is when business owns itself but government controls and tells them what to make, sell, and for how much.  Which form are we about to become?

Apparitions

Unity Publishing has not wanted it, but has become the investigative source for apparitions. This is not hard. First, find out the criteria for true and false apparitions as spelled out by the Church. Then, do not take any information as fact, but find out the truth of the information. Using the principles of discernment, we make a judgment based on fact and logic. In order to do this we must know what can be done by demons and what would not be done by God. Seems simple doesn’t it? The reason it is not so simple is that it is hard to find facts, when promoters give out so much false information.

Sometimes I make judgments that seem to be based on little facts, simple because I am not allowed to give out everything I know. One good example of this is a massive amount of information I have on Medjugorje but cannot give the proof because the information source believed he and his family would be killed if I revealed the source of the information.

True apparitions are important because this is how God warns us about the near future and what we can do about it.

Politics

Many religious people do not think politics is important, but these people do not know history. The greatest enemy to the Catholic Church throughout history has been governments - first the Jewish government, then the Roman government, then the kings, then communism, Nazism and always Islam.

Economics

Economics are not only important to religious people but even to the Churches. Without the freedom to be financially successful, we cannot use that money to help people the way we want to, and to promote our beliefs. Most people do not understand economics and the consequences of not being prudent about money. Money is the exchange of my labor.

Morals

Politics and Economics have affected our morals more than people think. Government and foundations have invaded our Churches and Universities with the power of their money and then blackmailed us into accepting their morals. One of these things is Psychology, the science of Narcissism. What many do not know is that Rockefeller gave millions to Notre Dame with the condition that they be silent about birth-control. Rockefeller was a strong promoter of world wide population control. Today most of the board of directors of Notre Dame are pro-choice. In fact, Morals has taken a back seat in Catholic circles to socialist agendas.

Prophesy

I study and investigate prophesy because that can help me know something about the future of the world and maybe even my own life. Since it is one of the great proofs of God, it can strengthen my faith. However, again we must investigate the truth of each and every so-called prophesy to know if it is true or false. One false prophesy can corrupt 20 true prophesies.

True Science

I write a great deal about true science, because over the last 70 years the true scientific method has changed from true facts to politically correct consensus, designed to give a so-called fact reason for political agendas.

Consequences

When we consider the long term consequences of getting the above subjects wrong, we are now dealing with Heaven or Hell. No falsehood is innocent and without far reaching consequences, not just to ourselves but to all those around us. It is the long term consequences that make the investigation into truths so important.

Daily News

Everyone should keep up with daily news of the world because it affects your life directly. Most people, especially the young could care less about news. They are too interested in music, movies, comedy, or drinking. However, those who are interested in news cannot find it on TV. Good example of this is the Tea Parties which were across the nations but almost not covered by the news media. Even those news outlets on TV that I like do not cover the news I want. I want to know the threats to my future and this requires news throughout the world that may have long term consequences to my life. That kind of news I can only get on the internet.
