REMEMBER ELIAN GONZALEZ
By Rick Salbato
On Easter week of 2000 Janet Waco
(Reno), defying a Florida Supreme Court order, sent in the National Guard and
took Elian Gonzalez away from his relatives and against his own wishes and sent
him back to Cuba.
Five years later on the same Easter Week Bush does nothing to save Terri Schiavo
Elian Gonzalez's
Story written 5 years ago by Richard Salbato
Just like everyone
else, I have been looking at and watching the progress of the Elian Gonzalez
case very carefully. I have seen the spin that the newsmedia has put on it and
the web sites that write what you cannot read from the CIA controlled news-medias
of CBS, NBC, ABC, UPI, and the Associated News Wires. Not to mention the fact
that Sun Myung Moon purchased UPI news service. Sun Moon is the seer and mystic
of the "moonies". In keeping with proper investigations one must
never believe anyone until the truth can be proved or shown with reasonable
logic.
As the news
unfolded we find that Elian Gonzalez made the news not because he was picked up
in the ocean fleeing from Cuba because hundreds of people do that every week,
and not because he was a little boy, because that is common also, and not
because he was the last to be alive because that is also not news in this part
of the world. What made the news it that he was surrounded by dolphins what
seemed to be protecting him from the sharks. It was latter learned that his
mother had taught him a prayer to his guardian angle, in which he said over and
over again.
Stories went on
that cannot be proven that the father in Cuba called his uncle that the boy and
his mother were coming to America and that he would follow whenever he could.
The uncle later said that Elian's father called him and told him to take care
of the boy.
Other stories that
cannot be proven are that the father was abusive to the mother and forced her
into three abortions before Elian was born and that he would not have been born
if she had not run away from the father. This also I cannot prove.
American CIA news
said that the mother came with a boyfriend but that also is not true. A friend
- yes, and a man - yes, but not a boyfriend. That is a big difference.
Let us apply
reasonable logic. Why is it that there are other children in the United States
from Cuba who want to stay here and the American Government has no objections
to them. Why is it that some Children want to return to their own countries and
the American Government does nothing to help them?
Why is it that in
all these Cuban cases the cases stay with the immigration department but in
this case and only this case Janet Waco - I mean Reno gets involved and
insists that Elian goes back to Cuba even though the kid signed a statement
that he wanted to stay in America and even though a Florida State Supreme Court
Judge ruled that he can stay.
Why did the father
change his mind and want his son back in Cuba. Does the father really have
another wife and another child? How do you know? If he has another wife and
child, how do we know that this wife and child we see him with is his real wife
and child. Would Castro let this man come to America with his family without
some security that he would not stay. We are fed information coming from
Communist Cuba with the aid of Janet (Waco) Reno and Clinton.
In a country that
thinks fathers have no rights they now pretend that they are protecting the
father's rights at the same time Clinton is supporting a UN bill called the
"Rights of Children" that will take all rights away from mothers and
fathers and give it to the UN. There is no consistent logic here.
Poles show that 60%
of the American public (even conservatives) believe that Elian should go back
with his father to Cuba. But what do these people know other than what the CIA
controlled newsmedia tells them. People base their opinions on the information
they have at hand. What do they know except that a father wants his child back
and children should be with the father? After I give some additional
information I would like to take a poll and see how many people want this child
to go back with his father. You can email me with your vote.
Not only does Cuban
President, Fidel Castro insist on this child returning to Cuba but the power of
the President of the United States is helping him. Why? Castro allows thousands
of Cubans to leave every year legally. Thousands more leave by boat every year
and Castro makes no attempt to stop them. Why then, I ask myself, is this child
different.
Why did Castro send
Elian's two grandmothers here to convince him to return. Why did Castro send
the father here? Why did the father come with his wife and child and two
bodyguards? Why did he go to a military base instead of to Florida where the
child was? Why did the local police Chief conspire with the feds to kidnap the
child two weeks before that Easter Saturday Morning. Why did the feds brake six
constitutional amendments in kidnapping the child and the newsmedia said
nothing about it. Why was a news photographer from the Los Angeles Times beaten
up and put in the hospital by these Nazi thugs and even the Los Angeles Times
said nothing?
Why was all contact
with Elian blocked off to the newsmedia and even to a Senator of the United
States, Smith? With the relatives of Elian from Florida tried to enter the
Military base and was told he could not. "Since when is a US Senator
denied access to a military base?" he asked. "This base is not under
the control of the military." He was told. Who then controls or has the
power to take over a military base from the army? Why did the newsmedia say
nothing?
Why have a barrage
of Cuban officials entered into the new compound where Elian is kept from all
newsmedia and all relatives. Why were these Cubans caught with illegal drugs
bringing them into this compound? What are the drugs for? Why are lights put up
so that even cameras from far away or in the air cannot take pictures?
A complete history
of all the events of Elian has been told many times and there is no reason for
me to repeat any of it here. But now let us use logic to answer these questions.
Is Elian Gonzalez alive even now? Why is the newsmedia cooperating with Clinton
and Castro? Why does Castro want this child? What is so important about Elian?
Is this a case of a fathers rights?
Let us first look
at a father's rights. Does a father in Cuba have a father's rights?
A Firsthand
Account Of Child Abuse, Castro Style - May 5, 2000: The Wall Street Journal
By Armando Valladares Fundacion@Valladares.as
Mr. Valladares was U.S. ambassador to the U.N. Human Rights Commission rom
1986-1990. He is the author of the best-seller "Against All Hope,"
which will be re-released in October by Encounter Books.
I was in solitary confinement in Fidel Castro's tropical gulag -- where I spent
22 years for refusing to pledge allegiance to the Communist regime -- when I
heard a child's voice whimpering. "Get me out of here! Get me out of here!
I want to see my mommy!" I thought my senses were failing me. I could not
believe that they had imprisoned a child in those dungeons. Later on, I learned
the story of Robertico.
He was 12 years old when they arrested him. A captain in the political police had
left his gun in his open car. When he returned to the car he saw the child
playing with it. He slapped Robertico and took him into custody. The child was
sent to an adult prison in Havana, where he was condemned to spend the rest of
his youth. He would not be released until he reached the age of 18.
Robertico was sent to a galley with common criminals. Within a few days, those
soulless prisoners raped him. He spent several days in the hospital for
treatment of rents and hemorrhages as a result. By the time he was released,
his file had been stamped "homosexual" and he was taken to the prison
area reserved for this classification.
Robertico was so slender that his body fit through the bars of the cells. One night
he slipped out to watch cartoons on the guard's television. When he was discovered,
he was sent to the punishment cells. He was taken out of those cells three
times a week for injections because he was suffering from a venereal disease. A
guard told me he was so young he did not even have pubic hair.
When I think of Elian Gonzalez, Robertico always comes to mind. This is the
Cuban society to which Elian may return: a society where all rights are violated
in the interest of subordinating all individuals to the will of the supreme
leader.
Sadly, some in America still believe that the Cuban revolution was a triumph of
good. It is worth remembering that many also refused to believe the horrors of
the Nazi extermination camps. Then, the world had to wait for eyewitness
accounts from journalists and photographic evidence from their camera crews
before finally accepting the horrible reality of what had happened.
Many other Americans seem to believe that even if savage things once happened
under Fidel Castro, the situation has now changed. Yet the same dictatorship,
which sanctioned the abuse of Robertico and has tortured thousands of political
prisoners, is still wielding absolute power over the Cuban people. Fidel Castro
has never recanted or apologized for the atrocities that have been reported by
those who have escaped his grasp. And there is a stream of evidence that the
brutality and repression continues. Last month the United Nations Human Rights
Commission condemned Cuba, for the eighth time, for its systematic violation of
human rights. Amnesty International and the U.S. State Department has done the
same.
It is standard practice around the world to transfer the custody of children to
the surviving parent when the other dies. That is what is normal. But Cuba is
not a normal place. If Elian is returned to Cuba, he will be sent back to a
place where most people dream every day of escape. It is an island prison where
a cruel tyranny has now lasted almost half a century. A fifth of the country's population
-- around two million people -- have fled, and more than half-a-million have
been courageous enough to apply for visas to leave.
Outside of Cuba, Elian will grow up as a free person with a free conscience. But if he returns, he will be "reprogrammed,"
as Castro himself has made clear. The Cuban government has already shown the
world the residence where psychiatrists and psychologists will instruct Elian
on how to despise and hate anyone who
is against communism -- including his own mother, who gave her life to bring
him to freedom. In a few years she'll be nothing but a traitor to the
Revolution. If Elian returns to Cuba his father will have no authority
whatsoever to make decisions related to his education. Cuban "law"
gives that authority to the Communist government.
Children are indoctrinated in Cuba from the moment they start to read. They are
taught that the Communist party is owed loyalty above everything else. And they are taught that they must denounce
their parents if they criticize or do anything against the Revolution or its
leaders.
For Elian, absolute control by the Communist party will begin in elementary school
with the so-called "Cumulative School File." This is a little like a
report card, but it is not limited to academic achievements. It measures
"revolutionary integration," not only of the student but also of his
family. This file documents whether or not the child and family participate in
mass demonstrations, or whether they belong to a church or religious group. The
file accompanies the child for life, and is continually updated. His university
options will depend on what that file says. If he does not profess a truly
Marxist life, he will be denied many career possibilities.
From his elementary school days on, he will hear that God does not exist, and that
religion is "the opium of the masses." If any student speaks about
God, his parents will be called to the school, warned that they are
"confusing" the child and threatened. The Code for Children, Youth
and Family provides for a three-year prison sentence for any parent who teaches
a child ideas contrary to communism. The code is very clear: No Cuban parent
has the right to "deform" the ideology of his children, and the state
is the true "Father."
Article 8 of that
same code reads, "Society and the state work for the efficient protection
of youth against all influences contrary to their Communist formation." It
is mandatory for all Cuban children over the age of 12 to do time in a
Communist work camp in the countryside. Away from all parental supervision for
nine months at a time, children there suffer from venereal disease, as well as
teenage pregnancy, which inevitably end in forced abortion.
When the reprogramming plan for Elian is complete, we will see him repeating the
slogans of the Revolution. He will have lost his liberty, his ability to dream,
his youthful innocence, and perhaps even hope. And should he ever do anything
that angers the regime, we must hope he will not end like Robertico, cornered
in a cell, calling for his mother. This time, she will not be able to save
him."

Now let us see why
Castor wants this child more than any other child in the world, and will do
anything to get him back to Cuba. From the Miami Herald read this section of an
article by Meg Laughlin.
Prayer vigil
lifts Elian fervor to new high
BY MEG LAUGHLIN
mlaughlin@herald.com
The religious
fervor surrounding the child was further buoyed by talk on the street that
Fidel Castro must have the child to meet some conditions of his Santeria
beliefs. This rumor surfaced after Sister Jeanne O'Laughlin, host to the boy
and his grandmothers in late January, was given a note by Lazaro Gonzalez, the
boy's great-uncle, who asked her to pass it on to the grandmothers. O'Laughlin,
who forgot to pass the note on, found it in her pocket after Lazaro, Elian and
the grandmothers had left her house.
``I was shocked by
what it said,'' O'Laughlin said. ``The great-uncle believed Castro would make a
witchcraft sacrifice of Elian and I became very worried about this.''
O'Laughlin said her
reversal of her neutral stance was partially provoked by the note, and she told
the attorneys for the Miami family about it. Meanwhile, rumors spread on the
street that the child would become Castro's Santeria sacrifice.
According to the
most-repeated rumor, a Santeria priestess had warned Castro that a child saved
by dolphins at sea would overthrow him. Castro, therefore, had to get the child
back in order to defuse the boy's potential power.
A poster reflecting
the fear of Santeria designs on the boy recently appeared in Little Havana. It
is a photo of Elian accompanied by these words in Spanish: ``Elian knows
Christ; the others don't.''
``The others are
people in Cuba, who believe in Santeria,'' said Alberto Davila, a neighbor of
Elian's Miami relatives who has the poster taped to his front door.
``The Santeria rumors
are ridiculous. The child was baptized as a Catholic in Cuba before he ever got
here. He will not go back and become something different,'' said Joan Brown
Campbell of the National Council of Churches, who accompanied Elian's
grandmothers when they visited him.
But the belief that
the savior-child can only be saved from the underworld if he stays in Miami
continues to rage on the streets.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Somehow I always
knew that this child had something to do with mystical theology and needed some
newsletter on my website, and now I see why this stayed with me so long. Castro
always played with the underworld and the mystics. When his Santeria
priestess read about the dolphins she went to Castro and made her prophesy.
Castor believes in her and was in a panic to get this child back to Cuba to be
sacrificed to the gods before he looses his power that he gets from the
underworld.
Why then would
the President of the United States cooperate with him? The CIA has been smuggling
cocaine through Cuba since 1993 in order to finance their black projects -
things that congress will not pay for because the CIA will not tell the
congress what the money is for. I know of these black projects but that is for
another time. The important thing is that Castro has the power to blackmail our
government and Clinton wants to remove the trade restrictions before he leaves
office to pay off contributors to his campaigns in the USA and China.
Why then do I say
that Elian may not be alive. On the day Elian was kidnapped Easter Week, he had
just had a haircut which shows on the pictures in the above web site. However,
the next day Janet Waco released a photo of Elian in the arms of his
father. Even the teeth were different? Since then no one has been able to see
this child, not even Senator Smith. Not even the newsmedia that supports
Clinton. What if the Castro people sent the father with his wife and a false
son and a kid that looked exactly like Elian and these were flown into a
military base where not even the military could see them. I say a false son,
because what if the father's real other son is still in Cuba and he is kept
under control with threats of the death of his other son? What if on Easter
Saturday the switch was made and Elian was flown back to Cuba to be sacrificed
on the witchdoctor's altar, as the father kept the false son, who even he had
not seen for over two years.
How will you ever
know if I am wrong? There is only one way. Let the relatives in Florida see the
child. If that never happens you will never know if I am right or wrong.
This doubt will always be there hanging on the heads of all the newsmedia, the
president, and Janet Waco, who has a history of killing children.
Clinton, a cocaine
addict and homosexual; Janet Waco, a lesbian and drunk; and the CIA, using the
government to mind control the public, is the perfect government for an
ignorant, complacent, public that has been bought off by temporary prosperity. The
economy is good, so who cares about a child.
