Conservative Pain

I am not saying in this title that there ever will be only one Catholic on earth, because that will never happen, but only IF there was, would there be a Catholic (universal) Church? I will answer that question later. The reason for this question is the essence of what is a Catholic. The Greek Orthodox said that a Catholic is those who adhere to the true doctrine according to their interpretation and they declared that the Pope of Rome was in heresy because he declared that the Holy Spirit proceeded from the Father AND the Son.

The Traditionalists of today (with a capital T) claim that the New Mass is a heresy and therefore all the popes that support it are in heresy and therefore are not popes. Some say we do not have a pope today and others have named their own popes.

I understand the pain of these people when you look around at the liberalization of Catholic doctrine and worship by many Bishops, priests, nuns and faithful. And we want to blame all this on Vatican II and the Popes of Vatican II and since.

But I remember this liberation and even heresy before Vatican II was even thought of. Priests like Schillebeeckx, Anthony Wilhelm, Karl Rahner and Hans Kung were spreading the heresy that Christ was only present in the Eucharist in a Sacramental way and not in a true physical presence. They even went so far as to say His presence in each and everyone of us was no different. A book spreading this heresy was sent out to all the Seminaries called “Christ Among Is”, meaning in each of us just like the Eucharist.

At the same time Protestants were infiltrating the Church with their “Baptism of the Spirit” and “Slain in the Spirit” and “Speaking in Tongues”. I went to one of these heresy Masses long before Vatican II and it was a Tridentine Mass. During the Mass the people were singing in Tongues and during the Consecration the people looked at and hugged each other. After the Consecration the people ran all over the church hugging each other and carrying on in extensive conversation. The people did not come up to the altar to receive communion but Ten of them grabbed handfuls of hosts and passed then out to those still in the pews. This was before Vatican II and during the time of Pius XII. Was this Pius XII’s fault? What pope tried to correct these heresies? I will show that it was Pope Paul VI.

The Novus Ordo Mass

I have no problem with those people who claim that the Novus Ordo Mass was a conspiracy of the people above along with Masons and a lot of Protestant influence. I believe it was a demonic attempt to corrupt the faith in the true presence by making the Mass bland and ordinary and removing everything that inspired holiness and sacredness.

They succeeded in doing this, but what they did not succeed in was making it not a legal Mass and a true consecration. As Thomas Aquinas and early Church fathers have said, all it takes to make a consecration is a true priest saying “This is My Body” and “This is My Blood”.

Believe it or not, Fatima predicted this when the Angel taught the three children this prayer:

Most Holy Trinity - Father, Son and Holy Spirit - I adore You profoundly. I offer You the most precious Body, Blood, Soul, and divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifference whereby He is offended. And through the infinite merits of His Most Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg of You the conversion of poor sinners.

Outrages, sacrileges and indifference are common in the world today but in 1916 this did not exist. This was a prophesy of our times. But this is important, very important, “If the Novus Ordo was not a true Mass, then Christ would not be there for the outrages and He would not be “present in ALL the tabernacles of the world”.

Lets face it, the popes since Vatican II have tried to correct the abuses of the Novus Ordo, but they have not had the cooperation of priests and Bishops. This also was a warning of Fatima:

"THE DISOBEDIENCE OF PRIESTS TO THEIR SUPERIORS AND TO THE HOLY FATHER IS VERY DISPLEASING TO OUR LORD." (Fatima)

Why do you think that Sedevacantists try to claim that the Lucia of Coimbra was a false Lucia? It is because of her love for John Paul II, who they do not think is a true pope.

Why do you think Sedevacantists attack Blessed Anna Katherine Emmerich as a false mystic? It is because of one statement by her to her biographer, Clement Brentano. Emmerich was told a man would come to see her, who did not believe in her and was a fallen away Catholic. He liked Masons and Protestants more than Catholics. Because she knew he was sent by God, when he attacked the Church she did not say anything. That night her Angel became angry with her. “Never let anyone attack the Church without you defending it.”

The next day when Brentano returned Emmerich said:

“Pilgrim, I want you to know that if there was only one person left on earth and it was the Holy Father, it would still be the one and only Holy Roman Catholic Church, the Mystical Body of Christ.”

Why did she say, “If it was the Holy Father”? Throughout the history of the Church the saints, the Doctors of the Church and many Councils have said that the Pope of Rome is the pin that makes the Church universal and all other members have to agree with him. Regarding doctrine the Council of Alexandria said, “The Pope has spoken, the matter is settled.” The saints have said, “Where the Holy Father is, there is the Holy Spirit, and where the Pope is not, there is no Holy Spirit.”

These same people who attach Emmerich claim that Brentano wrote her books, but he never wrote any book. He died claiming he was not worthy to publish her works and just left thousands of hand written notes of her exact words. Others had to put these notes together to write books.

There are people who say we have had periods of time where there was no pope. This is not true. Even during the time when the Cardinals are electing a new pope there is a priest who stands in the place of the last pope and with his ring making sure that no papal law is passed and that all his authority is kept. At no time during the many Antipopes has there been a time where the true pope was not living.

At no time has a pope of Rome passed a heretical law. I think I prove this in my booklet:

Pope Paul VI

The greatest escape goat for Traditionalist is Pope Paul VI because he was the signer to the new Mass. I agree he was wrong in doing this, but this does not make him a heretic because this is a matter of Canon Law and many popes have been wrong in Cannons and they are constantly being correct or modified, as the New Mass is now. This Mass is not about Faith and Morals.

However, how be believe in the Mass is a theological question which cannot be changed and in this Pope Paul VI defended the Mass as great as any pope in history with his encyclical, written during Vatican II conclaves, Mysterium Fidei. The following statement from this shows the sound theology and rejects the heresies of the time:

“Nothing remains of the bread and wine but the appearances, under which Christ, whole and entire, in His physical "reality" is bodily present, although not in the same way that bodies are present in a given place.”

"I believe in my heart and openly profess that the bread and wine which are placed upon the altar are, by the mystery of the sacred prayer and the words of the Redeemer, substantially changed into the true and life-giving flesh and blood of Jesus Christ Our Lord, and that after the Consecration, there is present the true Body of Christ which was born of the Virgin and, offered up for the salvation of the world, hung on the Cross and now sits at the right hand of the Father, and that there is present the true Blood of Christ which flowed from His side. They are present not only by means of a sign and of the efficacy of the Sacrament, but also in the very reality and truth of their nature and substance.". ( Mansi, "Coli. Ampliss. Concil." XX, 524D.)

Humanai Vidae

This same Pope, who so many hate, wrote Humanai Vidae, (the mystery of life). Let me explain the history of this document. Before and during Vatican II a great majority of the Bishops throughout the world came to the Holy Father claiming that the Church’s law on birth control is costing them millions of people to leave the Church and that the law had to be changed. Pope Paul VI listened and seemed to agree with them, especially because of the birth control pill, and pressure from the United Nations.

He finally heard all their arguments noting that 85% of the bishops wanted a change. He went away to his room all by himself and in one night wrote Humanai Vidae. This is the strongest document against artificial birth control in the history of the Church. It also predicted the coming sex revolution, the destruction of marriage, and would lead to euthanasia. Both the above documents were written by the Holy Spirit.

If all the liberals of the church leave because of its strict laws and all the Traditionalist leave because of its liberal laws, I will still be a Catholic and I will know that I am because I will be in communion with the Holy Father, even if it is just he and I.
