The Newsletter of Discernment

Loving those in error, loving the truth more, and never letting the truth become the enemy of Love

The Unity of Rome or the schismatic Medjugorje Hoax.

Who do you believe... and follow?

Sr. Lucia - Do not go to Medjugorje Sr. Lucia dos Santos --

in 1917, one of three children visionaries privileged to see and hear the true Mother of God in Fatima, Portugal (and the only child to speak with Our Lady)-- confided to Father Fuentes, that the Virgin Mary has made her clearly see that,

"We are in the last times of the world."

"The Most Holy Virgin has told me that the devil is about to engage in a decisive battle against the Virgin... and that he knows what most offends God, and what will make him gain the most souls in the shortest possible time. He does everything to gain souls consecrated to God, for in this manner, he will succeed in leaving the souls of the faithful abandoned by their leaders, thereby the more easily will he seize them."

When questioned about the "Third Secret of Fatima", undisclosed by the Church for the past thirty-eight years, Sister Lucia replied: "It's in the Gospel, and in the Apocalypse. Read them."

More recently, a newsletter published by Brother Michael of the Holy Trinity in St. Parres-Les-Vaudes, France reports that Sister Lucia dos Santos told a relative that the Virgin Mary is not appearing at Medjugorje.

Seeking confirmation, we personally spoke with Sr. Lucia's Spiritual Director, Father Messias Coeher, also the publisher of the official "Fatima Magazine" in the Cova da Iria. Father Coeher not only definitively enlightened us, but also dozens of CUF members during a four-session talk he delivered in Detroit, that Sr. Lucia had stated over and over again that it was not the Virgin Mary appearing in Medjugorje.

Sr. Lucia had stated over and over again that it was not the Virgin Mary appearing in Medjugorje.

Sr. Lucia, the oldest of the three shepherds of Aljustrel and for many years a cloistered Carmelite nun in Coimbra, Portugal, is in good company, for... Bishop Zanic of Mostar... Archbishop, Cardinal Huharic... Cardinal Vink Puljic, the new Bishop of Medjugorje... and numerous other pious and truly illumined souls have clearly stated,

"It is not the Virgin Mary appearing in Medjugorje."

As birds of a feather flock together, and we are judged by the company we keep, we dare ask all present day Catholics, "Who do you believe... and follow? The One, True, Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church of Rome and her divinely authorized bishops and saints... or... 'celebrity seers', renegade priests and profiteers industriously promoting a schismatic Croatian Church centered around the worship of a New Age pagan goddess?"

Voting "No Contest" in favor of the Church, we bid all with ears to HEAR to LISTEN to the Spirit-blessed and guided voice of Rome and a genuine prophet, whose incorruptible cousins, Blessed Jacinta and her courageous and kind-hearted brother, Blessed Francisco, are now in heaven... as promised by IMMACULATE MARY, EVER-VIRGIN MOTHER OF GOD in 1917.

"Do not go to Medjugorje. Our Lady is not appearing there."

-- Sr. Lucia of Fatima (on numerous occasions)

Additional words of Sr. Lucia regarding the devil's attempt to imitate Mary, and seduce the pious devoted to her:

From a letter to a priest ca 1969-70:

"I see by your letter that you are preoccupied by the disorientation of our time. It is sad, in fact, that so many persons let themselves be dominated by the diabolical wave that is sweeping the world and that they have in this way become estranged from God, and without God, everything is lacking."

"The devil is very cunning and looks for our weak points in order to attack us."

"If we are not diligent and careful to obtain from God strength, we shall fall, for our age is very wicked and we are weak. Only the strength of God can keep us on our feet."

From a letter to a staunch Marian friend, Sister Lucia wrote:

"Let people say the Rosary every day, Our Lady has repeated that in all of Her apparitions, as if to fortify us in these times of diabolical disorientation, in order that we not let ourselves be deceived by false doctrines... Unfortunately, in religious matters the people for the most part are ignorant and allow themselves to be led wherever they are taken. Hence, the great responsibility of the one who has the duty of leading them."

"It is a diabolical disorientation that is invading the world, deceiving souls! It is necessary to stand up to the devil."

"It is a diabolical disorientation that is invading the world, deceiving souls! It is necessary to stand up to the devil."

On September 16, 1970, Sr. Lucia wrote to a religious friend:

"Our poor Lord. He has saved us with so much love, and He is so little understood! So little loved! So badly served! It is painful to see such great confusion, and in so many persons who occupy places of responsibility!...

For us, we must try, as much as it is possible for us, to make reparation through a still more intimate union with the Lord...

It pains me to see what you are saying, but now, that is happening around here also!...

The fact is that the devil has succeeded in bringing in evil under the appearance of good, and the blind are beginning to lead others...

This is like the Lord told us in His Gospel, and souls allow themselves to be taken in. Gladly I sacrifice myself and offer God my life for peace in His Church, for priests and for all consecrated souls, especially for those who are so deceived and misguided!"
